Department of Fish Biology and Fisheries
The Estonian Marine Institute laboratories focus mainly on marine biology, fisheries, and water chemistry.
Estonian Marine Institute's Pärnu marine laboratory is located in the city of Pärnu, and research on fish, plankton, and marine litter is mainly carried out there.
The Estonian Marine Institute has four bigger marine research vessels, and several smaller boats.
